How can I cancel a payment?

You can cancel 'Pending' payment requests in your dashboard. For other payment cancellations, please contact support.

Canceling a payment request

Note: You are only able to cancel a payment request when it is in the 'Pending' state. Once a request has been completed, you will no longer be able to cancel the transaction. 

  • Select 'Payments' from the Jetpay dashboard at the top of the screen.

  • Click on the payment details of the request that you want to cancel. 

  •  Click on the prohibition icon in the top right corner of the payment details dashboard. 

  • To complete the cancel payment request process, click 'Cancel payment request'


Permanently removing transaction details

Once you have canceled the payment request, you can then permanently delete the payment details from your dashboard by following the steps below: 

  • From the 'Payments' section of the Jetpay dashboard, click on the payment details of the transaction that you canceled. 

  • Click on the prohibition icon in the top right corner of the payment details dashboard. 

  • To permanently delete the payment details from your dashboard, click 'Delete payment request'
  • You have now permanently deleted the payment details of your canceled payment request from your dashboard.
